Allow 2 consecutive missed days
Both flexible streaks must be at least as long as the strict streak over the same dates and devices. Exact results require combined daily desktop and mobile activity. Repeated gaps are allowed; 2 consecutive missed days break the one-day allowance, and 3 break the two-day allowance. Incomplete desktop-only figures are not shown as account-wide results.
04 / SPEED, WITH CONTEXT
The monthly chart uses each email’s own words-per-minute figure. The app currently displays 106 WPM as its average; its exact averaging window is not disclosed in the documentation reviewed.
A useful companion metric would be active-speech WPM = words ÷ minutes actually speaking, excluding defined silent pauses. It should sit beside elapsed-session WPM. Reading speed is a separate benchmark and does not measure spontaneous composition.
In 6,627 retained desktop sessions with both timing fields and positive word counts, the speech-duration field totaled 177,293.9 seconds versus 178,407.0 elapsed seconds: only 0.62% less. That field alone does not establish silence-excluded speaking time. Accurate pause-adjusted results need audio or reliable speech boundaries with a documented silence rule. No pause-free speed is estimated here. Wispr’s explanation of Insights ↗

Source & scope. Personal Wispr Flow “Flow State” emails, plus a read-only local desktop history aggregation and the app’s Insights screen on September 9, 2026. This personal dashboard is not an official Wispr leaderboard or endorsement. Only aggregate metrics are included; no transcript text or audio is published.
The repeat email search included Spam and Trash; no December 2025 or January 2026 monthly recap was found. The January 12 Year in Review email only links into the app. October and April duplicates count once. Older totals retain their rounding. Historical email change labels sometimes disagree with adjacent totals, so charts use headline totals. The million-word milestone is from August’s email, not a sum of this mixed-source series. All-user usage rankings are distinct from the app’s comparison against global keyboard typing speeds.
